Carla Bruni "Nicolas Sarkozy Wife"

She is absolutely ravishing, and her attitude (though hard to endure) makes her seem unobtainable and mysterious, which only adds to her sex appeal. Her come-hither stare, prodding lips and swiveling hips make her a "happily married man's wife" worst nightmare.

Carla Bruni, in her last full year as a model, made $7.5 million U.S. in 1998, according to BusinessAge magazine. It's a hefty sum, but money is the least of her worries. As the heiress to a Turin-based manufacturing fortune, she should have a Jaguar parked in her driveway for the rest of her life.

Carla Bruni's most famous campaigns were for GUESS, Paciotti and Versace perfume. She made it onto countless magazine covers, including L'Officiel, Glamour and Elle.

Her sensual "cat walk" has made her a favorite of many designers for their fashion shows, including Christian Dior, Karl Lagerfeld, Versace's Versus Donna, Ralph Lauren, Valentino, and John Galliano.

Biography

Carla Bruni Tedeschi was born December 23, 1967, in Turin, Italy. The heiress of a tire manufacturing fortune from her native city, Carla Bruni probably didn't even need to pursue the lucrative modeling career she presently has, considering the fortune that awaited her.

Nonetheless, the multitude of fashion shows and modeling shoots she has appeared in led to her inclusion in BusinessAge's list of the 20 highest-paid models in 1998.

carla bruni signs with city models
Like most models that have made it huge in the modeling industry, Carla Bruni didn't originally aspire to become a model. After relocating to Paris at age 5, Carla moved to Switzerland to study at a boarding school.

She finally returned to Paris, where her brother's girlfriend encouraged her to pursue a modeling career. Pretty much convinced, Carla Bruni dropped her arts and architecture classes at the University of Paris when she was 19 to become a full-time model.

Signed with City Models in Paris, Carla Bruni became one of the fashion industry's most famous faces (not to mention bodies). Her whirlwind climb to the top started out when Paul Marciano, the president and creative director of GUESS Inc., saw a picture of her face in a stack of pictures of aspiring models. The same man who later discovered Shana Zadrick and Josie Maran knew that Carla Bruni had what it took to become a star.

carla bruni marries nicolas sarkozy

Carla Bruni's latest taste in guys seems to be powerful Frenchmen. She dated French Prime Minister Laurent Fabius, and she married France's President Nicolas Sarkozy in February 2008 (it wasn't until January '08 that they confirmed their relationship).

Daniela Cavalieri "Liverpool WAG"

Despite having mental Spaniard Pepe Reina between the sticks, Liverpool recently forked out £3m to bring Brazilian shot stopper Diego Cavalieri from Palmeiras. The transfer makes much more sense when you consider his wife, Brazilian model Daniela Cavalieri, who will almost certainly prove a welcome addition to the Anfield WAG fraternity.

Daniela is a 28-year-old professional model who loves nothing better than relaxing with a quality magazine and a comfy thong on her bed. Also she is a brunette. I think at this point it is quite clear I know very little about her. Ahem.

Elle Macpherson "Body Industry"

Known as The Body in the modeling industry, Elle didn't get her nickname by accident. Her six-foot frame curves in all the right places and her long, lean legs are the stuff dreams are made of. Add to those qualities lustrous blond hair, sparkling eyes, a beautiful smile, and a sexy Aussie accent, and Elle embodies every man's fantasy woman.

Elle's career has been full of fame and success. Since being discovered when she was 18, Elle has been on the cover of Sports Illustrated, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, and Glamour, just to name a few. And by 1986, her popularity was so intense that Time magazine ran an issue called “The Big Elle.” She was also offered a post as an unofficial ambassador by the Australian government.

By the '90s, she was considered one of the biggest supermodels in the world, alongside such other beauties as Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, and Cindy Crawford.

Biography

Elle Macpherson was born Eleanor Nancy Gow on March 29, 1963, in Sydney, Australia. Elle's original plan was to study pre-law at Sydney University, but when the 18-year-old, six-foot beauty was discovered in Aspen, Colorado, she was immediately signed to her modeling agency.

She soon became an Elle magazine staple, posing for the magazine for six years. While her talent as a model was undeniable, her marriage to the fashion magazine's creative director, Gilles Bensimon, further secured her relationship with the magazine.

By 1986, at the age of 23, Elle was a full-fledged supermodel. She was so popular in Australia that Time magazine named an issue "The Big Elle," and the Australian government simultaneously offered her a position on the tourist commission as an unofficial ambassador.

Just as her career was on the rise, Elle divorced Bensimon in 1989.

Olga Kurylenko "Quantum Of Solace Hottie"

Olga Kurylenko's a relative newcomer to the world of film acting, but she already has a number of movie credits to her name, including appearances in Paris, je t'aime (2006), Le Serpent (2006), Hitman (2007), Tyranny (2008), and Quantum of Solace (2008).

Olga Kurylenko may be new on the American movie scene, but she's made a stunning first impression. Jumping into Hollywood on the arms of bigwigs like Timothy Olyphant and Daniel Craig is nothing to sneeze at, and it seems like Olga Kurylenko isn't about to stop there. She's rumored to be taking on another ass-kicking role in the upcoming 2009 film Kirot.

Next Olga Kurylenko appeared in Suspectes, a mini-series which aired on French television during the spring of 2007. Her other credits for that year included the role of sexy seductress Sofia in the thriller Le Serpent (aka The Snake) as Nika, and opposite Timothy Olyphant's Agent 47 in Hitman, based on the video game of the same name. She also played Mina Harud in the sci-fi drama Tyranny, which was introduced as a web-series before hitting the big screen sometime in 2008.

Olga Kurylenko became the next Bond girl, Camille, for the '08 flick Quantum of Solace, a role that finally solidified her place in Hollywood.

Although she's yet to receive formal recognition for her work here in Hollywood, we have a feeling Olga Kurylenko is set to make it big on the American big screen; and with looks like hers we definitely won't mind watching her ascent to stardom.
